We organize our bench and site time carefully. If your circumstances change, notify us promptly so we can reassign our craftspeople.
Cancellation window
Notify us by phone or email at least 24 hours before the appointment to cancel at no cost. If you cancel later, we may invoice the documented cost of specialty timber already bought for your order.
Rescheduling
You can reschedule your slot at no cost. We will offer our earliest open workshop slot within one working day.
Conditions for payment return
We issue a full refund if we cancel the commission, fail to finish the agreed work, or produce a result outside the written quote that we cannot correct within a practical timeframe.
- Cancellations made more than twenty-four hours before a scheduled visit incur no charges or penalties.
- If you cancel less than twenty-four hours before our arrival, an initial call-out fee of forty-five pounds is due to cover travel and scheduling losses.
- Deposits paid for custom timber cuts or specially sourced wood species cannot be refunded if the timber has already been cut or machined.
- If we must cancel an appointment due to weather or illness, your deposit is refunded immediately or moved to an agreed alternative date.
Requesting your money back
- Telephone our office or reply directly to your booking confirmation email.
- Provide your site address, booking date, and invoice or reference number.
- State whether you wish to reschedule to another date or cancel the work.
Timeline
Approved deposit refunds are processed by bank transfer within three working days.
