Pricing & Payment Terms
We believe in plain, open pricing before tools touch any wood. We explain our figures clearly so you know what each timber repair costs.
How prices are set
Pricing is based on visual examination of the wood or clear photographs. We give a fixed quote covering labour, timber stock, adhesives, and hardware. If hidden rot or severe pest damage appears during removal of floorboards or plaster, we stop work, show you the condition, and agree any price revision before continuing.
Payment methods
You can pay in cash when we hand over the piece or via bank transfer on invoice. We do not process card payments through this site.
- Cash on completion
- Bank transfer against invoice
Invoicing
An itemized digital invoice is issued upon completion of the work. Payment terms are due on the day the repair is signed off. We do not take card payments, card machine swipes, or online payment links.
Deposits and materials
For jobs requiring bespoke timber profiling, large quantities of Accoya, or total costs over four hundred pounds, we require a deposit of twenty-five percent before purchasing materials. The remaining balance is payable upon completion.
Late payment
Invoices not settled within seven calendar days of completion incur a late charge of eight percent per annum above the Bank of England base rate, calculated daily.
